Immerse yourself in the heart of the deliciousness of the Lyon Street Food Festival 2024 with our creation approved by nearly 5,000 festival-goers: the Praluline Perdue.

On our stand, Hugo Pralus and his team revisited the famous Praluline into an irresistible street dessert.

After numerous requests, we have decided to reveal the recipe to you, which promises to transform the Praluline into a melting, caramelized and simply divine "lost" version.

Discover all the secrets of this unique creation and bring a bit of the festival spirit into your kitchen!

If your Praluline has managed to survive 4 or 5 days (which seems unlikely to us), here is the recipe. Otherwise, hide a Praluline and let it stale a little.

For this recipe you will need:

  • 1 egg
  • 40 grams of sugar
  • 50 grams of milk
  • 150 grams of liquid cream
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 1 Praluline
  • Homemade vanilla ice cream from Pralus (on sale in all our stores)

In a deep plate, beat the whole egg, and add the sugar, cream, milk and vanilla.

Cut the Praluline into slices a good centimeter thick.

Then dip these slices in the appliance and drain them.

Lightly butter a plancha or frying pan and heat it well.

Then snack on your Praluline slices on each side, until you obtain a beautiful golden color then let them cool.

Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, enjoy, crack, melt...!
