A regular at the Paris Chocolate Show for over 25 years, Pralus will be present at Porte de Versailles from October 30 to November 3, 2024 for this event which brings together all the players in the chocolate industry, cocoa bean producers, chocolatiers, couverture makers, pastry chefs, etc.
This 29th edition, opened by the traditional parade of chocolate dresses for the benefit of Mécénat chirurgie cœur, promises once again to be mouth-watering. For five days, 500 participants from all over the world will host what has become over the decades the largest global event entirely dedicated to chocolate, cocoa and pastries. On the program, the biggest names in chocolate and pastries gathered exceptionally for 5 days, the largest selection of chocolates from five continents and the presence of cocoa-producing countries in the heart of Paris.
All chocolate and pastry experiences
Open to the general public, the Salon du Chocolat is intended to be a festive show for the whole family with, alongside stands of chocolatiers and professionals of all forms of delicacy, a program of entertainment, experiences and very chocolatey events. Recipe demonstrations by the greatest chefs, parades of chocolate dresses, prestigious competitions, exhibitions and chocolate works, shows and live performances, pastry workshops, conferences, dedications… This year, professional and amateur competitions will be organized at the show including the International Trophy of French Pastry Chocolaterie and the Master of Pain au Chocolat.
Not to be missed is the exhibition of sculptures created by the finalists of the Best Apprentice of France Chocolate and Confectionery Competition. Nor the traditional presentation of the Christmas logs "Bûche Ô ma Bûche", true ephemeral works of art imagined by renowned pastry chefs.
Chocolate Dress Parade
An unmissable event at the show, the chocolate dress parade will bring together 14 chocolatiers, each associated with a stylist. Under the sign of time, the iconic fashion show will be offered twice a day, at 4 and 5 p.m. Two passages to allow a wider audience to appreciate the show. The Pralus house will put on its show, with a dress by Hugo Pralus and Stéphane Pagan, the creative duo formed in 2022.
Tastings at the Pralus stand
On the Pralus stand, easily identifiable with the ten-coloured bag of the house as a banner, the teams surrounding François and Hugo Pralus will share the know-how and pleasure of chocolate during these five days. You will be offered a presentation of the bean to bar chocolate range, enhanced by tastings of the different origins and the Barres infernales in particular. Who says Pralus also says Praluline… A space dedicated to our pink praline brioche will be next to the chocolate area where our pastry chefs will shape and cook the Praluline all day long. With a bit of luck, you might see Hugo Pralus at work, alongside his father François!
